Through a growing and enthusiastic pool of Southern California residents who don't have cars or don't use them very often, Living in Los Angeles Without A Car (LILAWAC) aims to provide resources, community, and a voice to Los Angelinos who are looking for alternative forms of transportation in these times of gridlock and uncontrollable gas prices. We welcome comments and suggestions from all, and contributions from anyone who has a better way of getting from point A to point B.

This is very good advice. I had to fight myself this morning, but in the end I opted to make it a bike-free day and spare my airways the aggravation.
